Definition:
GW4 is a horizontal rotary disconnector, mainly composed of a base, a support, an insulator, and a main conductive part. If it is a grounding type, it also includes grounding moving and static contacts, grounding knife gate rods, linkage parts and interlocking plates.
Structure:
The switch single pole is a parallel double-column structure, symmetrical on the left and right, driven by a diagonal rod, the three-pole linkage of the main knife gate is driven by a horizontal connecting rod, and the three-pole linkage of the grounding knife gate is driven by a connecting pipe.
Use: Widely used in power systems, mainly used to open or close the circuit when there is no load current or only capacitive current, forming a visible break for inspection and maintenance. Applicable to electrical systems with AC 50Hz and rated voltage of 12kV to 40.5kV.
Application:
Usually installed in outdoor places such as substations and transmission and distribution lines, and can withstand severe weather conditions, such as high temperature, low temperature, humidity, and wind and sand.

GW4 AC high-voltage isolation switch is suitable for power systems above 10KV, for high-voltage line no-load switching and for electrical isolation of high-voltage busbars, circuit breakers and other electrical equipment under inspection from live high-voltage lines. It is used for the no-load switching of high-voltage lines and the electrical isolation of the tested high-voltage bus, circuit breaker and other electrical equipment from the live high-voltage line.
